The appetite for snacks and sweets is on the rise around back-to-school and the holiday seasons. According to a 2022 InMobi survey, 38% of back-to-school shoppers said they spent more on snacks in 2022 compared to 2021. Shoppers also spent 7.8% more on holiday groceries in 2022 than they did in 2021 according to the National Retail Federation. As grocery brands prepare for 2023’s back-to-school and holiday seasons, Christian Hagedorn shined a light on all things snacks and sweet treats in this session! Attendees went home with actionable takeaways, from exclusive shopping insights to marketing tips on driving brand growth in the current economic environment that will enable them to engage audiences throughout their shopping journeys from discovery to purchase.
