Haribo of America, Inc. has launched limited-time Harry Potter Edition gummies. The collaboration features a collection of whimsical shapes that reflect the license.

Three new mixes are named after the three protagonists: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley, with the gummies coming in shapes and flavors that represent characters, creatures, and iconic symbols from the series.

The mixes feature flavors including vutterbeer, crisp green apple Forbidden Forest, cola reminiscent of a bubbling potion, sweet cherry lollipop from Honeydukes, zesty lemon sorbet like Dumbledore’s beloved lemon drops ,and fluffy cotton candy as light as a Nimbus 2000.

“We’re excited to bring the Happy World of Haribo together with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to create new, limited-edition gummi shapes and flavors,” says Seth Klugherz, vice-president of marketing. “We know the stories and characters are beloved by so many, so we’re excited to capture that magic for our fans in our delicious tastes and textures for the first time ever. Katjes USA’s newest innovation — Wild & Free — textured foam gummies feature a soft, pillowy texture is paired with chewy gummi. According to the company, the product is plant-based and celebrate the spirit of the Wild West, with shapes including cowgirl hats, boots, bandanas, cacti, and the phrases “Yee-Haw” and “Giddy-Up.”

The gummies are made with plant- and algae-derived colors and are free from palm oil, animal gelatin, and high-fructose corn syrup. Each bag includes an assortment of fruit flavors — peach, orange, strawberry, raspberry, cherry, and grape.

The launch will feature prominently in the company’s digital campaign, “Vegan Gummies. Wildly Good.” The campaign celebrates self-expression and inclusivity. Retail rollouts are planned for April.

Morinaga America, Inc. is adding Blue Raspberry to its Hi-Chew stick pack line. Originally launched in the company’s Fantasy Mix bag line, the company says the flavor quickly became a consumer favorite.

Morinaga reports that a March 2021 Neilson survey showed that blue raspberry ranks as a top choice among Gen-Z and millennial consumers. The Blue Raspberry stick packs are the first introduction to the brand’s classic stick format since Sweet & Sour Watermelon in 2020.

“Hi-Chew is constantly seeking ways to expand our flavor offerings as well as the format of our current product portfolio,” says Teruhiro Kawabe (Terry), chief representative for the USA & president, CEO of Morinaga America, Inc. “With its unique flavor profiles, Fantasy Mix was one of the most innovative products we’ve introduced to consumers and has since stood out in retailers with its whimsical packaging. Mars Wrigley is putting a crunchy spin on its Skittles brand with Skittles Pop’d freeze-dried candy. The company is debuting the product in both original and sour varieties.

“At Mars, we’re constantly looking for innovative ways to deliver new experiences to our fans, based on flavor profiles and texture trends that we know consumers are seeking,” says Ro Cheng, marketing vice-president, Mars Wrigley North America. ” Skittles Pop’d trades Skittles’ traditionally chewy lentils for a crispy, crunchy texture that we know our fans are really going to enjoy.”

The product will be available in 5.5-ounce packs with the original assortment containing strawberry, lemon, lime, orange and grape flavors, while the sour sku includes sour lemonade, sour blue raspberry, sour strawberry, sour watermelon and sour cherry.

The company is launching the item through TikTok Shop, while supplies last, before the product hits retail shelves later this fall into early 2025.

Haribo of America, Inc. is making Goldbears Wild Berry part of its everyday line. Each bag features an assortment of berry flavors — blueberry, blackberry, wild cherry, strawberry, and raspberry.

They are available in three pack sizes — four-ounce peg bags with an SRP of $1.49, five-ounce peg bags with an SRP of $1.99, and-ounce bags with an SRP of $2.79. The smaller bags ship 12 per case, while the large bag ships in 10-ct cases.
